My name is Carly.  I love to dance, sing and express myself best through movement.  I love to laugh and try to live life as fully as I can in each given moment as best as I can.  I love to circle with other women and open up and share, dig deep and release so that we can move through life a little lighter than before. I try to nourish my mind, body and soul with things that will lift my vibration.  I always do my best.

As I evolve so do my teachings.  I studied contemporary dance at Manchester Metropolitan University, then travelled all over the world.  It was during this time that I began to realise the benefits of yoga.  I had a period of anxiety and terrifying episodes of panic attacks where my body was expressing what my mind was supressing. Yoga for me pulled me through and out the other side, delivering a calmer more centred being as a result.  I knew then that I needed yoga in my life to bring balance and also that I needed to learn a lot more about it, so I could embody it and then subsequently share it with others!!  What a gift.

In 2000 I trained with a company called TEACH YOGA in London, and was inspired by many amazing teachers from different disciplines.  I became a fully qualified teacher through The British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance.

I continue to be inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, Angela Farmer, Susi Hatley....just to name a few.  There are many more.

In 2011 I trained as a Prenatal and post Pregnancy yoga teacher with the Life Centre in London (and it was during this time I fell pregnant.)  I absolutely love working with women during this sacred time in their lives.  It's a real privilege and makes my heart sing, especially when we meet again for mummy and baby yoga.  It's so sweet and beautiful to share these special moments with them.

In February 2014 I trained as one of the first Sacred Pregnancy instructors in the UK, I am now one of the directors of Sacred living Movement UK, bringing sacred workshops to the UK.

In June 2015 I qualified as a STARCHILD yoga teacher, and am delighted to offer classes from preschool to teenagers in my local area.

Gandhi said "be the change you wish to see in the world"  STARCHILD is an education for peace, working with children for a brighter more compassionate future.

Yoga is not a self improvement program. Let go of ideas of perfection and come into yourself just as you are.
